Got a 'free' set of shelves from a friend who inherited them from a former neighbor who moved. And of course, while the poles and shelves were there, the retainers were not. Measured to get the correct diameter retainers and bought these (not the absolute cheapest but had good reviews). Worked PERFECTLY to let me assemble the shelves vs sending them to the landfill. Time will tell but they are very strong (I store bulk oil jugs on two of the shelves) and sturdy.
