The first one I used I really liked. It held my knit hat in place all day hiking. Then when I got home and popped it open the rivet at the end of the fastener snapped and the clip was broken. Ugh! Rats... Well, I have 23 more, hopefully that was just a bad one... but what are the chances the first one I used is the ONE that's bad?? So far that has been true. I've used these a number of times since and none have broken. I have thicker hair so these larger size clips are an easy way to quickly get my hair securely out of my face. Since the first one, so far so good!
