Like the product. Would give 5 stars if the cables were thicker and higher quality. My other butt set was 1/3 the price and has much heavier cables that don't tangle any where nearly as bas as these.Worth the money!it good for a itNice simple test set. Does not have the features that I have found on more expensive test sets but it is much lighter and works great when you are just looking for a test set for basic telephone work. Much better to throw on your side when working in the air as weight is something to think about when climbing,at least in my mind. Does not alert when cliping on circuits or DSL but was not what I was looking for when this purchase was made.This butt set has sturdy construction and will stand up to day to day use indoors and out in all kinds of weather. Unlike cheaper sets it doesn't rely on a fuse to shut it down if the voltage warbles (rca's etc). It has it's own protection circuit and it continues to function fine. The price is right and the unit is comparable to butt sets costing hundreds more. Comes with angled bed of nails included.This set works very well. I was using one of the less expensive butt testers and was not satisfied. This works and the user's manual is in English which is really helpful when using a function that you don't use often. I also like the ABN clips; they really work well in small junction boxes.Works as expected. I use it professionally. Good craftsmanship! The test lead could be replaced if necessary so I've read.
