I had been looking for similar clips in stores, but I guess these are out of style this season. I was truly excited to find these as my other octopus clips started breaking. These hair clips are thick and durable, the colors in the picture are correct and do not flake off, and the claw is spaced appropriately where it grips comfortably and I do not feel pulling or pain. My bun does not move around or lose hair. I have not had to remove and clip my hair up at all. I will buy these again because they beat the classic store name brand clips hands down. They do not have the silicone grip inside, which makes it way better because it does not catch and tug hair - not even the hinge.
